National Route 7 connects San Luis to Mendoza (two hundred fifty five km to the west) and to Buenos Aires (seven hundred ninety one km to the east); besides, the San Luis Airport has regular flights to Buenos Aires and Córdoba. The main square, called Juan Pascual Pringles, is the starting point to visit the historical City; from there, the National school can be observed. Off the main square is the Cathedral, built with a neoclassical architecture. Besides, the Rivadavia Pedestrian street, The Independencia square and the Cultural Center Puente Blanco are touristic places. Furthesmore, If you want to go out for a party there is the Illía Street where you will find many Pubs, night clubs and restaurants.
To tell you
the truth, not only the nature but also outdoor sports in San Luis are the best
things that this city can offer to visitors. If People want to have

You can practice all kinds of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing,
kitesurfing, water skiing and fishing carps and sand smelts in the lakes surrounded
by hills like Potrero de los Funes, La

villages. In the first one, you can enjoy the Salto Colorado, the Volcán
River and La Moneda Falls, and in the

This is the best river in San Luis although
it is shallow.
All these places are very close to the city of
the San Luis, you can go to Florida (48 km from the city), Trapiche
(40 km from the city) , Estancia Grande
(21 km from the city) or el Volcán (15

A half-hour drive will get you to the excellent
thermal waters of Balde and San Gerónimo. These waters have healing
benefits for physical problems, such as rheumatism,
diabetes or skin problems, or you
can just enjoy natural relaxation. I like the spa of San Gerónimo better.
diabetes or skin problems, or you

Furthermore,
if you want to ride furtler away, Carolina
is located 80
kilometres away from the city and The
Sierra de las Quijadas National Park
is located one hundred twenty two (122) kilometres away from the city. The first is a town where the Mining
continues to be the main activity but using rudimentary techniques. The old
mine is abandoned and the villagers used to extract gold from the river. Now, It
is possible to take guided tours to the interior of the old mine, accessing the
main tunnel and going through its galleries about three hundred (300) meters. In
the second, there is the river Potrero de
la Aguada that only in the rainy season runs. The Farallones, with their
cliffs, cornices and terraces, have a reddish color. The vegetation is scarce,
the jarillas and the cacti are abound. There are also white crayfish
and typical plants of the area, like the zampa
de Quijada. Although the area is very arid, it has abundant fauna:
Argentine puma, montés cat, gray fox
and mara are the most common animals. Among the birds are the ñandú, the gray hawk, the mora eagle and
the Andean Condor. In the Sierra de las
Quijadas, fossil remains of two species of pterosaurs or winged lizards
have been found. One of them has a peculiar dentition, with beards that formed
a kind of basket, which served to retain the microorganisms from which it fed
by filtering water. It is awesone, if you’ll visit this then you’ll love it!
As you can see, there are many
places in San Luis to meet, you can
have fun, play sports, enrich yourself culturally and eat a good Kid and drink a Malbec wine. Last but not least, the weather is spectacular because
the day is hot but at night it cools
down and the people can sleep. It is one of the nicest places in Argentina because
of its sceneries are awesones, the food is magnificent and the people are
friendly. This is why you really ought to go to San Luis.
